ER Visit

We struggled this morning with Mike having a couple of seizures. He is back in the hospital... I am too tired to write more.

  1. I'm so sorry, I know how both of you were so looking forward to being back home ~ I can't imagine trying to dig up the strength you guys are exhibiting. We will all be asking Heavenly Father to send additional strength your way in our prayers tonight!

  2. Nancy and Mike - May tomorrow be a day of hope and love and blessing. . . and every day after that as well.
    Love - Charlotte

  3. Get some rest....a better day will come your way tomorrow.

  4. Nancy & Mike,
Your fight and gain your strength so you can win new battles during the days to come. I share one of my favorite daily meditations with you. "I know that Jesus is in me - it is he who does everything in me: I do nothing."

As always you are in my thoughts and prayers.

    love and hugs,

  5. So very sorry you had to go back so soon after getting home. Prayerfully, this is just a little glitch, and you'll be back on your way to recovery very soon. Do rest - a lot - it's the best thing you can do. Our hearts and prayers are with you.

  6. Nancy, we are still with you and sending whatever strength you may need.....SusanT

  7. we'll be thinking of you. hope you both get some rest.

    Nancy and Mike,

As I read this post, the words of a hymn began sounding in my head....."I will NOT doubt. I will NOT fear."

Know that you are always in my thoughts and prayers!

  9. way to go mike!
ted & i are pulling for you too.

in case you don't remember us---we are ted & catherine heiby of the eagle creek ward in indy which is in the indy west stake. my husband (ted) & i used to live in portland indiana many, many years ago and we were in the muncie for about 2 years (ted's mother is currently in the dunkirk boundaries, though she is not a member.) we knew you when you were called to the bishropric as a single young man and when david & la rene gaunt lived the ward, david taught gospel doctrine and institute.

ted & i live in indy now and just happen to be in the same ward as karla york houser (the oldest child/daughter of bruce & jan york). ted & i have been keeping you in our prayers for sometime---thanks to carolyn shafer, who still lives in winchester and goes to the winchester branch there. she & i have been friends for all of these years, thanks to la rene gaunt calling both of us to work in the YWCA there in muncie back in 1976! ted & i are both so glad to see that you are surviving this nasty cancer and doing quite well from what i can see here!

may God continue to bless you from,
