Another day at the hospital... Some ups, some downs. Mike is a trooper... The chemo went well. His leg pain is a bit less now that he has some fancy hose to wear :) My bed is calling...
Not only is Mike a TROOPER but so is Nancy, Andy, Tyler and Hannah. Glad for today's info and glad that the meeting yesterday helped put things in perspective. Perhaps you feel that Mike is taking "baby steps" but so what---they are better than no steps. Also "PTL" that the pain has lessened. God is still in charge and as my friend keeps telling me,"HE also knows what He is doing." We are going to see improvement right along---Much love to all of you. You are doing great as an "Ellis Team" with the old Huffman grit showing through.J&B
Nancy, I think your Mom said it best...rest yourself and look for the bright spots along the way! You are one tough lady and are moving mountains, you just don't feel it. Glad they got Mike into the fancy hose, they work wonders.
Our prayers are with you all. Keep taking charge and asking questions. That gives us fuel for the next gift of inspiration. When a door closes another truly does open. Love you, Jan and Don
And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger: because there was no room for them in the inn.
