The MRI was completed this afternoon. If you haven't had this experience, it can be a bit uncomfortable. You lay in a tube just the width of your shoulders with a guard over your head for about 20 minutes with a loud noise all around you. They do put some headphones on you to try to distract you from the tight space and loud noise. This is my 3rd one in the last 3 months, so I knew what to expect.
I don't know what to expect from the report next week, however. Though this is a precautionary MRI to see how I fared with the surgery recovery, radiation and chemo therapiess, one just never knows what is lingering up there. We are confident and trust in the Lord's plan for us. We will patiently wait for the results and take the next step in this journey, whatever it may be. We will faithfully pursue our life's mission and continue to make good decisions on eating, rest, and wellness. Our life is in the hands of the Master and we will follow what path is mapped for us.

Yes, Mike....our lives are in the hands of the Master. You are such a trooper!! I wish there were some way that I could just help you....but I will just continue to pray and to ask for strength for both you and Nancy. Not one of us knows what you are feeling but we want to be strong for you. Happy tomorrow!

I am surprised how loud those MRIs are. You'd think they could find a way to take pictures a little quieter than that. I get to have another this week--yeehaw!

Hang in there you guys....diagnosis of cancer is never without some bumps (pun intended) in the road...let this be no more than a little bump in the big picture. Until then, take it a day at a time or even a minute at a time if necessary. None of us know our what our futures hold. Be the best you can be right now..in this moment. Love each other more & try to be happy with what each day holds for you. I need to do the same, so I know that anything can become overwhelming. We will continue to send positive energy your way & hopefully this will just be a routine step in your long term recuperation.

Mike and Nancy, I read this feeling such great love and faith from you and for you both. It is so true, when all is said and done, we find the greatest comfort in knowing that our lives are in the hands of the Lord and he has a plan for us. This is one of my favorite scriptures:
