Dear friends... The MRI results were not what we had hoped for. There are 2 more lesions inside Mike's brain that withstood the radiation and chemotherapy. I talked with the doctor today and he told me about some options... We will meet with him in the morning to determine what to do. I KNOW we are being cradled in God's arms. He knows what is best for our lives. Please pray that we will make the best decisions. Thank you all for your great love. The days ahead are going to be difficult, but with your strength coupled with ours we will be triumphant. Love to you all, Nancy

  1. Nancy and Mike, I am so sorry to hear this. This is not the news that any of us wanted to hear. Please know that you truly will be in our prayers. Your testimony of being cradled in God's arms were so touching. We will pray that you will make the best decisions. We send our love. Karen and John

  2. We are so sorry to hear this. We continue to pray for you.

  3. Nancy & Mike,

I am so sorry. "Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him."
    James 1:12

  4. Jonathan and I add our love, support, and prayers to you both.

  5. Andy is a dear friend of ours. We have followed Mike's journey through this blog for the last month or so. I have been so inspired by the amount of courage and deep faith your family has shown. I know that your faith will carry you through this tough time. Please know that you will continue to be in our prayers.

  6. Nancy & Mike,
If I could only take the pain, the fear, the worry, and the unkown away for you, I would. But I trust that your faith and willingness to follow the plan that has been given to you by our Lord will carry you thru both the dark and tough days ahead. None of us wanted to hear this news and had hoped for so much more. Mike was born with faith and a strong belief to his church and the Lord, he didn't have to find faith he only had to teach the rest of us how to find it. I know that you will take time to find strength as a family and will be lead in the right direction as you find comfort and support from one another. Thinking of you always and know that I am here if I can do anything to help.
    hugs and love to all,

  7. Nancy, Mike & family,
My heart aches for all of you. I know that this had to be devastating news for all of you because it was for us as well. Now with that sentiment said, remember to take things one moment at a time & remember to breathe throughout it all. If you can do that, you can get through that difficult meeting in the morning & through everything else as well. We are all here for all of you...whatever you may need. Our positive thoughts will be with you tomorrow & always...
    Cindy, Jeff & Chelsea

  8. Nancy,
Sending good thoughts and vibes your way. You are such a strong woman, a role model for any wife or soon-to-be wife.
    We love you!

  9. This is not what we wanted to hear, but know that the decisions you make will have devine direction. Praise and thanks be to God.

  10. You both are so strong. Remember to take long, slow, deep breaths. We will do the healing
meditation this weekend when you are ready with
    healing music.

May the spirit in me salute the spirit in you.
