I know many of you are anxious for a new post... Mike hasn't felt well for the last several days. We have heard nothing about the MRI... I am too nervous to call. I am going with "no news is good news." I have thought up all kinds of rationalizations as to why Mike is having headaches. The truth is, we just don't know. I hope I have hit my low point and am heading back up. Discouragement is a terrible thing. We have faith that a loving Heavenly Father knows us and knows our hearts and knows what we can handle. I posted earlier that we need to replace fear with faith. I'm trying. I don't see my counselor for another week... He is on vacation. YIKES! I have his number... Bob would call :)

  2. Nancy,
Thank you for your post. I know it must be hard to write when you are feeling such understandable anxiety. We pray for you, but wish we could do more. What we do know for sure is that Heavenly Father is aware of you every minute.

  3. Mike and Nancy,
I wish I had the right words that would bring comfort to you both at this time filled with so much stress and uncertainty but I hope you can feel the love that comes from so many that have you in their thoughts and prayers, friends both past and present.

  4. Nancy,
I keep you in my thoughts and prayers daily, knowing what a huge struggle this is for you. I wish I could take away all the pain and fear you are feeling, but as my Mom always said, "He never gives us more than we can handle, unless we doubt his plan" Let this be just a small stop in the road and happier days lie ahead.
    hugs to all,
    love,
    Barb

  5. No- Bob would hunt him down and live with him! (or her - if your councelor if female:-)
I read something interesting as I was studying a SS lesson...the word 'succor' does not mean to mearly 'help' another. Succor actually means to RUN TO AND AID! I think of all the scriptures that say the Lord will succor us in our times of need, he doesn't sit back and see if we can handle it on our own, or give us five minutes of 'cry time' then give us aid...he runs to us. Can you imagine what it would be like if that weren't the case? I suppose we don't always feel the succor when it's being given. When I try to comfort my children when they are hurt or upset it takes awhile for them to feel the comfort I'm attempting to give them sometimes. I've rambled a bit, sorry! You're in our prayers - and I'm with you no news is good news!
    Love, K
