Round 3 underway

Mike started round number 3 of his chemo treatments last night. He took it like a pro. We both had anxiety leading up to it since the last time didn't go so well. Last night was great. Mike slept well with no nausea. He ate a good breakfast and is ready for the rest of the day. We are so very grateful for the many prayers, kind thoughts and words in our behalf. You pulled us through this one! We know Heavenly Father hears and answers our prayers. We are thankful people.

  1. What a bit of good news! No doubt, the prayers of many have been heard and answered this day. May Mike have a better tolerance for this round of chemo and be blessed with healing. What a trooper! I so admire my brother and his strength of character.

Please tell Mike that Jerry will be digging our basement this week. We are to come up to IN for the closing on the house on Thursday morning. It will be a very quick trip. We will find ourselves heading back then on the following Wed. for Thanksgiving.

Much love and prayers are being sent your way.

  2. Most of us cannot even imagine the anxiety connected to putting chemo in our bodies. The prayers continue from SO MANY. Thinking of you both.

  4. Mike &Nancy,
We are so pleased that the first "chemo day" has gone quite well. We continue to pray and hope for the other days to go as well. It was such a joy to see you both Sunday with new strength and optomism. We send love and prayers this day as always. You are both in our daily thoughts as we love you so much. Hang in there. J&B
